Update to follow

I've just moved apartment so things are crawling very slowly at the moment. No internet at home for a couple of weeks and have a lot of other things to sort out.

Driving my car still puts a massive smile on my face, and the price of petrol is yet to make me think about getting the train.

Going to try an economy drive to York this weekend - wonder what MPG I can get out of her.

SupraPod

Woke up my girlfriend at 5.00 on Saturday (poor little thing) and drove over to the M1, meeting a few other Supra's to go to SantaPod for an event we call "SupraPod".

Here's a picture of a few of the cars at Watford Gap...

The weather was amazing and it was great to have a look around and see so many Supras, so many ideas for which direction to take my lovely car in!

There was some impressive drag racing going on, as well as some really cool drifting. The temperature was a little too hot for the cars to drag properly; the launched were marred by slipping tyres in first gear, but it was a great day out.

Met a GT4 at some M6 services as well; finished the day off nicely. I'll leave you with a picture of my car at the raceway. Enjoy!

Registration plate

Well, another change! I have now moved the registration plate to the intercooler gap in the bumper.

This looks a lot better than it just being velcro'd on.

Sub woofer boot-build coming soon!

Mesh Fitted

£10 all in :)

Awaiting sideskirts

As you can see from the photo below, the car currently sits a bit lower at the front than at the sides.
I have some OEM sideskirts on the way, to be fitted on Friday. This should really finish the car off nicely.

I also have a boot-build for a set of dual subs on Sunday so it's going to be pretty awesome in that car!

T-cut polish

Well, washing wasn't enough! I had to just had to try some of this:

So, washed the car again and then rubbed in some T-cut. Covered most of the car in it and it got rid of the little chips and dings that the bodywork has picked up over the years... awesome.

Lovely shine
Amazing reflections!
Parked once more, outside Princess Scampi's place :)

Got her

Well, I have my first car - a Toyota Supra.

Drove her on the M62 yesterday afternoon and it was great fun. Covered about 80 miles and used probably about 1/4 of a tank; which isn't too bad for a 3l engine I suppose!

More photos to come, but here's a top down one looking at her from the balcony!

TRD Gear Knob

In ~24 hours I should have my first car. To say I am excited is an understatement! Anyway, last night when I was backing up some work, I went on eBay and bought this:

It's a Toyota Racing Development (TRD) gear knob. The one in the car at the moment wasn't much fun to use when I test drove it and looked a bit crap to be honest.

This one should just screw on and then it'll be a case of getting used to the new car! Pictures to follow!
